No, we’re not talking about eggs and pancakes here. Or unda paratha. 🙂
We’re talking about something more delicious!
Mornings were CRAZY.
I stressed over tutoring each child, every.single.subject, and soon burnt out. I found myself running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. And this happened every.single.morning.
Then one day, I read about Morning Time – the beauty in simplicity and gathering as a family for all subjects, aside from math. Even then, I still found myself scrambling to look for resources to fulfill the most important part of our Morning Time – Islamic Studies.
One day I came across educational printables in a restaurant menu and it dawned on me that we could use the simplicity of ‘open and go’, without the bulk of binders.
Game changer. It took me years to curate our Morning Time plans and today I’d like to share them with you.
What is Morning Time?
What is Morning Time? “Quite simply, Morning Time contains subjects that the family can do together that emphasize truth, goodness, and beauty in their homeschool. Morning Time is a liturgy — one part of Charlotte Mason’s “atmosphere” of education.” – Pam Barnhill
Whether you call it Morning Basket, Morning Time, or Morning Collective, it all means the same thing – gathering as a family for what is most important to you.
What are Morning Menus?
They are Morning Time printable resources that you place inside of restaurant menus.
